When you think about music labels, you typically think of predatory behavior, unhappy artists, and lots of lawsuits. However, there are still many labels out there that operate with integrity, and one of those is Family Wealth Moguls.
This label has become a haven for artists to create, own, and leave a lasting mark on the world. This business is about more than just music – it’s about community, impact, and care for others.
We are so thankful that Ayonna Harrison Mogul, the Founder & C.E.O. of the company, took some time to talk with Jess Likes Music about Family Wealth Moguls.

Also known as Amazon Godezz.
From Darkness To Light
The vision for Family Wealth Moguls came during what Ayonna describes as one of her lowest points. Although she was working, going to school, and winning public speaking awards, she was also homeless with two children. Despite her circumstances, Ayonna knew that there was more out there for her; the spark just needed to be re-ignited. Thankfully, that was done by one of her now-artists.
“The concept for Family Wealth Moguls had been in my spirit since 2019, but I didn’t think I’d actually act on it. The name came from the fact that I didn’t have a real “family” outside of my children. After surviving abandonment, abuse, and foster care, I craved a space where love, loyalty, and legacy lived….That pain pushed me to create a label rooted in something bigger: unity, healing, and generational impact….I wanted to build a home for artists who felt unseen, unloved, or unheard, a family where we didn’t just make music; we built empires, changed narratives, and made history together.”
Family in a Dysfunctional Industry
The music business can be brutal, and it’s so important that artists have genuine people in their corner. Through Family Weath Moguls, Ayonna aims to build a space where artists can truly be family:
“It’s trust when no one’s watching. It’s correcting each other in love and still showing up when the lights go out…we move like a tribe. There’s no room for mediocrity here, only alignment, accountability, and authenticity. This isn’t a clique, it’s a calling. We are kingdom-driven, unified by faith, and led by purpose. Our loyalty doesn’t expire when opportunity walks in; it deepens.”
Generational Wealth Through Music
For Family Wealth Moguls, generational wealth means complete ownership: masters, publishing, trademarks, image, and brand. Artists learn to think like CEOs and build catalogs that their future descendants can benefit from. “We’re not here to lease influence – we’re here to own it and pass it down,” Ayonna says. “When you own your identity, your creativity, and your catalog – no one can take it from you.”
Keeping Artists Authentic and Aligned
When it comes to success as a music label, the key is to have artists that align with the company’s vision and goals. Family Wealth Moguls works to stay aligned with their values: truth, purpose, and impact, all centered around God-ordained creativity. They have successfully maintained their alignment with their purpose through their artists, Amazon Godezz, Itzluv Shawty, and The Demi Godzz. Although all three have their own style, they all work together to represent the Family Wealth Moguls brand successfully.

“It all starts with respecting their voice. Amazon Godezz is bold, prophetic, and speaks truth to power. Itzluv Shawty is raw, vulnerable, and speaks to the shared human experience. The Demi Godzz are the future young, vibrant voices glorifying God in a kid-friendly, culturally relevant way. I don’t mold them, I help them sharpen what’s already inside….we speak the language of the lost, the voiceless, and those seeking truth in a world full of noise. We meet people where they are and then lift them higher.”
Challenges in Building a Purpose-Driven Label
Purpose can be a hard sell in a clout-driven culture. Ayonna has faced betrayal, disrespect, and even public dismissal for not fitting industry norms. Some venues have sabotaged performances, and some Christians have criticized their style or tried to call their music “demonic.” But Ayonna remains confident, knowing the vision is God-given. “I remain grounded. I know the soil I’m planting in. The real ones? They find us,” she says.
Advice for Independent Creators
Ayonna’s advice for independent artists and music labels is practical and faith-based: “Document everything. Trademark your name. Register your work. Learn the business as much as the art. And don’t chase every opportunity, some bags aren’t worth your identity. Don’t let the lack of money stop you. Do what you can do for free now. If you only have time and vision, start with that. Plan intentionally and invest wisely when the resources come. Move in faith, not fear. The rest will work itself out.”
A Peek Into The Future
Ayonna envisions Family Wealth Moguls being remembered as “the blueprint,” the label that raised the standard and proved music could be meaningful, spiritual, and revolutionary. “When people hear our name, I want them to think of truth, purpose, faith, and freedom.”

If she could preserve one track for the future, it would be Build Your Legacy by The Demi Godzz. “That track is a generational wake-up call. It encourages youth to plant seeds early and inspires parents to invest in their children’s dreams. It reminds us that legacy isn’t something we talk about, it’s something we live. A lot of older people feel they’ve missed their chance, but if they shift that mindset, they can still sow into their kids and help them break cycles. That song is both a blueprint and a battle cry.”
What’s Next
The label has big things coming up:
“We’re gearing up for SXSW 2026, and we plan to bring our full roster to the stage for a showcase that highlights the heart of what we do. We’re also launching the Family Wealth Moguls Magazine, a platform that highlights rising talent and provides opportunities for our strategic partners to showcase their work. We’re opening up consulting and development sessions to mentor artists, entrepreneurs, and creatives on brand building, legacy planning, and ownership. New music is on the way, with performance campaigns geared toward schools, churches, and family-friendly venues. We’re also exploring tech-based innovation, and we have long-term plans to build an ecosystem that supports creators spiritually, artistically, and financially.”
Family Wealth Moguls isn’t just growing, it’s expanding the movement. And for Ayonna Harrison Mogul, the mission is clear: change the narrative, build the legacy, and keep God at the center.
